Valentin Bufolin
Valentin Bufolin is a wine blogger, publisher and a wine lover in general.
He’s a 3rd level Sommelier, Slovenia’s Vice Sommelier Champion of 2019 and the vice president of Slovenia’s sommelier association. He expanded his knowledge by visiting courses for organoleptic wine tasters, sommelier courses in Italy and Court of Master Sommeliers. He’s waiting for results of the WSET 3 level certification.
He’s been a constant judge for Slovenian Wine Festival, Malvazija Festival, Sparkling Wine Festival and several wine competitions in the country and abroad, and has also started a project named #365daysofslovenianwine, where you can find daily impressions of Slovenian wine each day in 2021.
He’ is a regular writer of wine reviews for Slovenia’s biggest online wine portal, “O vinu”.
